A Short Stroll to the Sea
Tucked away beneath the gentle slope of the surrounding hills and enclosed on either side by pines and sabinas trees lies the exclusive Can Sabinas villa. Situated just 200 metres from the ocean this villa benefits from an oasis atmosphere by the beach.
Cala Basa is the closer of the two beaches to be walked to from your luxury villa Ibiza. Its sweeping curve of fine white sand and amazing views of the areas well known promotion of San Antonio and Cap Nono make for some fantastic vistas captured on film. The rocky outcrops to the left of the beach act as great fishing and rock jumping ledges that invite you into the clear water that laps the coastline.
Like the walk down from the villa the surrounding banks of the beach are backed by pine trees offering shade if needed and are ideal for avoiding the strong mid-day sun during a picnic lunch. Alternatively return to you luxury villa Ibiza to freshen up and refuel.
For an afternoon walk to work off lunch can we suggest taking a stroll along one of the headland walking tracks leading away from the beach in both directions. To the left and behind the beach walking through the pine forrest, you will find a hidden bay with some wonderful places to sunbathe away from the crowds. If the sea is calm, this bay has some good little spots for swimming too with crystal clear waters for snorkelling.
The bay overlooks the small island of Conejera, carry on down the path and you’ll see an old watch tower that can be walked to and explored. From here, you can see in the distance the electric blue waters of Cala Conta's beaches, continue your walk for another 15 to 20 minutes you'll come to them. With stunning views of the islands dotted around the coastline Cala Conta's beautiful turquoise waters makes it one of the best beaches on the island.
There are three beaches in the bay, the far left is a quite nudist, very chilled and friendly. here you'll find a really laid back chuirenguito serving cold drinks, mojitos and simple snacks and is actually a wonderful place for sunset. The other two beaches are divided by the Sunset Ashram situated on a rocky outcrop overlooking the turquoise waters of the bay. Here, DJ's play at sunset and its a great place to get some healthy juices and food if your in need of recharging the batteries after a long night out! Why not ask for one of our drivers to collect you from the Sunset Ashram after your sunset cocktail. Also on the beach and great for sunsets accompanied with good food is Silla de Bosc, Italian cuisine meets locally caught sea food. A really lovely place with some good wines on the menu too! This beach is a well provided for with these amenities and a large parking area.

The BBQ is great for cooking fresh produce from the local super market "es cuccos" one of the best on the island!
