Ibiza's Wonderful Mediterranean Climate

Ibiza enjoys a truly wonderful Mediterranean climate, with long hot and dry summers whilst its winters are pleasantly mild and sunny. The island is an all-year round paradise with each season offering its own special qualities for visitors enjoying a holiday in one of our luxury villas Ibiza.
Summer
Without doubt the most popular time to book an exclusive villas Ibiza is during the summer, when the sun shines all day long. From June to September temperatures normally hover around the late 20Cs to early 30Cs, with slightly cooler nights. Occasionally temperatures might soar to the mid 30cs, but there are always pleasant cool sea breezes to make it seem less stifling. Sea temperatures are also high, peaking to around 26C in August, whilst the private swimming pool in your luxury villa Ibiza is likely to be even warmer.
There is very little rainfall during the summer months, which is great news for BBQ-enthusiasts, although those visiting in September should pack an umbrella for a few light downpours.
Autumn
Autumn in Ibiza is wonderful, with warm temperatures and fewer people.
Temperatures in October often linger in the mid 20Cs, with an average high of 23°C, whilst in November they drop to around 19C. Sitting on the terrace of your exclusive villa Ibiza is still possible, although you might need a few warm clothes in the evenings. Rain also increases slightly throughout October, although the sea will still be warm enough to swim in if you fancy braving the elements for an exhilarating experience.
Winter
Compared to Northern European winters, the Christmas period in Ibiza is very mild, with average temperatures of around 11C. However, many days will feel warmer than that as there is generally a lot of sunshine around. Many visitors enjoy Christmas Day on their terrace of their luxury villa Ibiza in T-shirts, which surely beats sitting inside.
January and February can tend to be stormy, with heavy wind and rain. But despite this, the island still sees an average of five hours of sunshine per day during this period.
Spring
The warmer weather arrives with a vengeance in March, with temperatures quickly climbing to an average of around 17C although the real summer heat doesn’t normally hit Ibiza until May. Spring is another wonderful time to enjoy the island. Visitors are few and far between and holidaymakers staying in one of our luxury villas Ibiza will find they have the beaches virtually to themselves. By April the sea temperature has risen to around 18C, which is warmer than waters off the UK in mid July.
